J. Mackey Gallery in East Hampton and Well Made Home are pleased to present their first collaboration, a solo exhibition for Locust Valley painter Eliza Geddes at the recently opened Well Made Home design showroom in Palm Beach, Florida. J. Mackey Gallery will be exhibiting new figurative and abstract works by Geddes who is a favored artist among prominent collectors and designers. Her work has been featured in publications including Elle Decor, Cottages & Gardens, London’s Matchbox Magazine, and Flavorpill.

Geddes received an MA in Art from New York University. Her technique involves a long process of layering and texturing the canvas with markings and various X forms. Using unconventional materials: house paint, ink, a foam brush and a putty knife, she creates a multidimensional experience. Her work has been exhibited in prestigious galleries including, Findlay Galleries, Manhasset, New York, Mulry Fine Art, West Palm Beach, Franklin Riehlman Fine Art, New York City, Holster Projects in London and the 2021 J. Mackey Gallery exhibition “Icons & Imagery”. Her work is also in several private collections across the country.
